Calling all geocacher's.

In the process of looking for a park we have not been to for awhile I came across an opportunity to team up with Keep Brevard Beautiful (KBB) to work with them along with other people who share the same intrest of keeping your plant clean.

The event will be from 9:30 to 11:30 at the Canove Beach Park. For those who are not familiar with Canova Park this is one of the few beaches in Brevard where dogs are allowed. that being said you are free to bring your dog(s) with you to this event.

KBB is asking everyone that is going to help sign a volunteer form, the forms will be provided when you arrive.

The posted coords will take you to the small pavilion where we will meet and get our directions.

Let's show KBB that geocacher's can get the job done.

🍨 Welcome to the August Meet and Greet! 🍕

Come and meet fellow geocachers, while enjoying a treat!

*** Please note that I've moved this location to a shaded area, as the hot sun can be overwhelming, at times! We'll be in the lower section.

• This is an outdoor event with free parking!
• I moved this month's meetup to a new location, which requires descending a ramp.
• No purchase is necessary.
• Feel free to eat before, during, or after meeting fellow geocachers.
• This is a great opportunity to drop-and-swap any STASHED trackables you are holding.
• There are caches available in the area!

At Mosaic at WDW, our mission is to demonstrate our passion for God and His passion for people!

UncommonLoveAtWDW is a space where we can practice and learn from one another how to intentionally demonstrate the Gospel in our community.

We will gather at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to spread #UncommonLoveAtWDW together, intentionally encouraging Cast Members on the clock. We’ll meet in front of the Chinese Theater.

*You must have a valid park admission/a reservation if needed to enter DHS.

This is a Cache In Trash Out (CITO) event.

I choose parks that are not yucky. The parks need very small items collected which include bottle caps, cigarette butts, and party confetti.

This is my SECOND CITO at this park. The park is just off of Highway 98 and north of I-4 in Lakeland, Florida. Michael "Mikey" Grimm with lakelandgov.net is in charge of this park and approved this event.

I hope you have some Downtime and can help with this activity, I have Explored many of the parks in the area. Rarely, do I need a Calculator while I am at the park.

We can talk about some puzzles if you would like. Those are the exact coordinates for this event. Thought we could do a little puzzle while cleaning the park.

What: CITO - Douglas M. Cook Park
Where: Meet at the parking lot. 955 Wedgewood Estates Blvd entrance
When: Sunday, August 30, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Why: To enhance the beauty of this park
How:

• Mark will attend on the event
• My log book will be available for those who like to sign one. This is not required.
• Grab a bag or bring your own. During another of my CITO events, many cachers preferred grocery bags over large bags. We emptied them into a large bag and refilled as needed. I have added paper bags also.
• Grabbers will be available or you might want to bring your own.
• Gather any trash around the park.
• Bring it back to the GZ.
• Sanitize your hands. (Sanitizer will be available at the GZ.)
• Pose for our group photo. I try to take photos throughout the event also.
• Log your attendance on the app or online.
• Receive your smile.

We’re so excited for our fall Beach Day this year – happening back at Cocoa Beach!

We can’t wait to spend the day together! Our day will start at 10:00am, include dinner, and we’ll finish out the evening with baptisms and sunset worship.

You can book a room through our hotel block for the night before and/or night of at the Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral by August 12th.
